The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is a major initiative in China's new era to promote the formation of a comprehensive new pattern of openness, and serves as a demonstration zone for deep cooperation between the mainland and Hong Kong and Macao. In response to national education policies and to explore directions and pathways for high-quality early childhood education development, the Faculty of Education at The Chinese University of Hong Kong and Nanjing Normal University Press plan to host the '2025 Greater Bay Area Forum on Early Childhood Education and Child Development' in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province from March 12 to 14, 2025. The forum aims to promote academic exchange and cooperation between the Greater Bay Area and mainland early childhood education, and to discuss new trends and challenges in child development and education. During the event, domestic and international experts, scholars, educators, and policy makers will focus on topics such as innovative educational methods and cross-cultural educational practices across Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao, providing new ideas and approaches for high-quality development of early childhood education in the Greater Bay Area.
